I would like to join , because Ive always been excluded from dNd. The gamemasters don't like the way that I larp , I can't help it though I don't no no better and didn't have any upbringing. I was a good kid growing up but I ran into a little trouble when I got older, though these days you can find me in 'The A', literary studying under some of the greats like Jordan Peterson, Dave Ramsey, and PhD Susan Jeffers as well as Dr Phil Stutz but I digressed

well they sound like shit DM's GMs then cuz i'm a GM myself and honestly and good GM should be able to handle anything even a player trying to ruin a game or someone that has no idea and fucks up constantly.

there's a FUCKING REASON they make those DM screens so YOU HAVE CONASTANT ACCESSS TO THE SHIT THE MECHANICS AND CAN TELL A PLAYER HEY!! HEY!!!!!!!!!! roll for that. If you can't find a roll you suck "Oh you can't do that" why WHY???? just fucking roll for it ffs

like if you have a setup like this you should be able to ARRRR PEEE with the devil himself imho but im just a amateur DM so WHAT DO I KNOW

idk how to dm anything other than 5e tho soooooooooo ya
here's the player handbook pdf if anyone wanna look at classes or join our group wellhung will probably just be a warrior or sum shit maybe

I have a module for this ^ lost mines but it's kinda meh

Apparently GURPS space is cool maybe I can learn how to GM DM that

because if i'm DM/GM and I can rope meikai into it and wellhung is still on the fence + crawlspace , maybe fona but i doubt it

3 people would be okay 4 would be opital yeah we are just putting FEELDER OUT there so if we had a guaranteed 2 more we could basically start playing ASAP but ya im still trying to think what version RPG dice game would be cool

i might just stick to 5e DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS idk how other shit works.

it's a bit of a bitch to learn but i think the learning curve is fun (i think at least) also DM's that don't allow bards are FAGGOTS , i DONT CARE IF THEY ARE "BROKEN" the common complaint I see is that high level parties can just steamroll the game easily which honestly yeah they can but if you actually look into the mechanics you can adjust the difficulty for different areas and stuff

also if someone dies idk if they are supposed to make a new character or something I think the best way to handle it is you get to be a main story character worked in but you have to start a few levels lower than the party ¯\_〈ツ゚〉_/¯ at least thats how i'd handle it personally. thats my STYLE.

NO BUT LIKE, WHAT IS ORBITAL?

ORBITAL employs the No Dice, No Masters system, utilising the core structure & mechanics from the wonderful Dream Askew by Avery Alder. This means two main things:

There are no dice —players use tokens when they want their characters to take action, making 'moves'. Strong moves, which show the character at their best, require a token to be spent. Weak moves, which show the character's flaws or worst impulses, earn you a token. These tokens help you to weave dramatic arcs for your characters with far more control and simplicity than capricious dice, and make it easy for just about anyone to jump in and start playing.
There are no masters—each player controls both a character and a share of the role of game master, taking responsibility for all of the NPCs and narrative pressures within one aspect of the setting (for example, THE INTERSTELLAR WAR or THE SCUM & VILLAINY). It's more like you're all taking turns playing the antagonists & introducing complications, rather than playing a game entirely without a GM.

Also drawing from Dream Askew, ORBITAL is a game of Belonging Outside Belonging. This means it focuses on stories on marginalised, precarious communities working to live independently from a dominant culture.
