   I don't think any Western countries/governments have changed much over the past couple centuries. I don't think there's ever been a real power exchange. The US or the UK of today is a natural progression from that.
   
   Nostalgia is a hell of a drug though.

   Russia and BRICS, and I think China's plan with Africa is the way to go. Russia isn't creating a refugee crisis by overthrowing governments, stealing resources and exploiting these countries.
   
   The UK, US and France did this with Libya and they're currently trying to start another war in Africa that will create another refugee crisis on a much larger scale. And they literally can't take the refugees although they should have to. There are consequences for this. It's the natural progression. It's the result of all these things they've done in the past.
