Also Berkeley, Albany Ca, and Oakland have the same kind of streets which I never saw on my road trip across the US that I saw in Mass. The guy who worked at the Whale Museum told us that when San Francisco had its first major Quake (I think 1800s) that many buildings got fucked up in the "Great Hayward Quake" that Boston and New Bedford construction guys came to build Victorian era homes which replaced those that got wrecked or burned down. so this is why San Francisco has identical style homes that you don't find elsewhere. there are victorian homes everywhere but they're made slightly different depending on where they're built.
