But I love how there's blatant government censorship in the US hidden behind corporations. Behind Facebook/Instagram and Twitter. Elon Musk is even a government contractor. It's them deleting all the inauthentic Kazakhstani behavior, not us.

If it's a threat to them at all they'll just block you from the search engines.
If anything is going to challenge Western social media it needs state backing really. Money for lawyers and all of this. I read somewhere that tiktok had to let Oracle, which is a front company for the CIA, host all their twerking videos and such, not to get banned. To protect our privacy from the Chinese lolz. Tiktok made out ok in that but they still want to ban in cuz reasons (it's something that they're not in control of).
If Saudi Arabia sees their relationship completely going to shit with the US (I do), they may be working on something. -

That sounds like one of those good problems. Fuck search engines, the underground scene is decentralized enough that it's impossible to block because someone will always have a mirror or a link on a blog or something and even if you can't find a site like kiwifarms if you do enough snooping and ask USERGROUPS, as long as you aren't breaking the law there is jack shit they can do about people sharing stuff online

I learned a lot about this company, I don't think thats exactly accurate. I definitely believe all theses big tech companies are agents of the state and work closely with government agencies, but it's actually a technology company that makes vital data software and stuff, which is why it's so insidious when industry leaders just bend over and let teh government tell them what to do
