   It's kind of a natural land bridge. a dry island of sort meaning it's an island with no water on one side but requires a bridge to cross because of the giant ravine between it and the main part of california. it's a magical place that allows Sea Lions and Elephant Seals to be left the fuck alone most of the year except when the Park Department brings in tourist who have to clean the shit that washes ashore (Garbage and plastic) in exchange to be on the viewing list during mating season. or something weird like that. i'v been past it half a dozen times but never headed west into it.
