2023-08-04 at 3:23 PM UTCAgain vinny...not everything is determined by law (you seem to have real difficulty in understanding that).
Many societal norms are not decided by law but by acceptable behavior...farting in a full elevator for example..no law against it but most of society would deem it antisocial. -

if society really think its unacceptable they would make a law against it, like child sex.

electoral collages dont represent the majority of the country. -

...and yet they haven't...again in a free society not all majority thought is governed by law...I know that's hard for you to understandelectoral collages dont represent the majority of the country.
Didn't say it was...I said Majority rule...that applies equally to the electoral college results.
Stay in school kid. -

Ask 2000 people if ramming avocados up your ass is right or wrong…you'll find a HUGE majority say wrong. Get back to me when you've done this and have the results.

The resulting majority vote of the 538 Electoral College voters…wins.
Wrong
Candidate #1: 269
Candidate #2: 135
Candidate #3: 134
Total = 538
If no candidate receives 270 electoral votes, the House of Representatives will pick the president. Each state delegation gets one vote, regardless of the number of congressional districts it has. 26 votes, representing a majority of the states, are required to win.
Which means the majority of people and electorors could be overridden. -

2023-08-04 at 8:10 PM UTCI'll concede I was wrong about the electoral college, I didn't consider the 3 candidate scenario.
