did they not have police or authorities back then? if some teenager dissapears form the census or other family members or neighbours dont see her anymore as shes sold to a brothel wouldnt people ask questions or authorities like cops get involved. i mean even back then they had such laws police forced and such rightz.h Hw would some kid just disappear and be sold to a brothel and no one ask questions?
