   ok so naruto has blonde hair and blue eyes, and is also japanese. He has inexplicable powers, and lives in an overgrown world. Could the naruto universe really just be a universe where germany and japan won the war, interbred, then nuked each other?

   Haha, I read the uzumaki manga, it was split into only mildly related chapters, some of them fell flat but it was the subtle stuff that went on in the non-climax frames that make it good. Spirals are apparently considered as kinda positive iconography in Japan, maybe like we'd treat a five pointed star or whatever.
   
   The enigma of amigara fault was probably my favorite horror oneshot.
