$317 but shipping and taxes brings it to $512.

    Really gay.

Going to pull it in the garage and get a good look and feel for all of it before I make any decisions.

Also going to keep shopping around because $150 for shipping can go fuck itself.

UPS is gay as hell btw. I tried to ship a 3lb box smaller than a shoe box to a couple states over and they wanted $26.
I took it to usps and they charged me $14.

find a shop that will make a sleeve and weld it.

You can even get sleeve kits. They're just a sheet of metal and two big jubilee clips, you wrap the sheet around the pipe, covering the break and tighten the two clips on either end. I had one holding my exhaust pipe together on one of my cars.

Lol he took your ass for a ride, and also did something highly illegal if the car came with a cat from the factory. Cats get big money when turned in for scrap.

By the way there's more than enough good metal to weld in a sleeve. Don't let him tell you otherwise. After it's done go get some high temp spray paint and paint the welds once it has cooled down for 10 min at least.
