    reddit and facebook basically are dying the same way yahoo did, and that other company that was simiar, aol, or were those the same thing. idk but they lose focus and just start doing all kinds of dumb shit, at least betabet, twitter, apple and microsoft have focused on their strengths and facebook, or sorry meta oh wait they gotta change the name AGAIN because metaverse is a fail concept and we live in the AI age

    also twitter is really bad and has been for a while, I think on purpose. I think Elon is proving a point that this model can't work, and needs to die. If you want what you want, this is how it has to be.

    I used threads for about 2 minutes and uninstalled it, garbage product 0/10

    I haven't been on in a while but with Reddit, when I was on, it's mostly the users that make it shitty. With Facebook and Twitter it's built in.

    Last time I used reddit, I got however many thousand views on some video clip that Facebook and YouTube would have shadowbanned.

    I don't understand what he's trying to do

    he doesn't seem to understand what the value and power of a platform like Twitter was; he's been cutting down all of the important parts

    you could make the argument that he doesn't think that power model should exist and is destroying or reshaping it into something else, but it's really not that complicated and it's not going to stop others from setting up similar 'services'

    twitter has been failing as a platform for me but ive never seen a bigger or more diverse widespread gathering of different fringe insanity groups. I've been regularly following random freaks since like 2020 , i have 1000 accounts followed and I shuold try to see if I can word cloud map it by interests because holy shit

    my twitter feed is amazing
