I think you're right about being younger and fearing death, I guess it's a fear of the unknown or something.
The older I've gotten I've come to accept it, for the years I was shooting fetty it definitely did not scare me although I wasn't welcoming it I was definitely dancing with death.
Now I look at it like if I die then it's my time. I have a scant amount of people I love that keeps me from actually wanting to die but as it is sometimes I feel like I don't care if it happens. I'm trying to change that though.
