I had a friend who spent thousands on licensing then another 5k or so on a five seven, another one got his guns taken away because cops followed him to the shooting range (he didn't have a record or anything, just a pistol license) then picked him up for stopping to get mcdonalds on the way home - you can only go to and from the range, no stops or anything.
for legal guns you can only use them for sport (target shooting) or hunting, shoot someone in self defence and you're going to jail.
illegal guns I haven't had anything to do with but it seems to mostly be old hunting shotguns and rifles that were 'lost' around the time of the bans and buybacks but you still see homemade LUTYs and shit showing up in the news every now and again

It's just like any other "law" they just use it to suit whatever it is they need to. It says "shall not be infringed" so because I am considered dangerous and have broken the law multiple times they feel the need to infringe my right to defend myself against them. Seems shady, fuck the government and your stupid laws....
For the record I don't own any firearms but if you betabet bitches want to come for my kitchen knives and razor blades you can pry them from my cold, dead hands ☠️
