We had notice it was closing...so people started looking for other forums to migrate to, the requirements were low moderation and free...someone discovered NIS and a few of us came here, others went elsewhere.Candy was just there hoeing around on her bf and ends up here how? And the others?
As I recall Candy was single when she came here. The DH forums for most of the regular posters was never about dating...it was just a good free very active forum where people just like here bullshitted about all kinds of stuff. When I joined I found it by googling for "Active free forum"...I was already in a relationship with exwife #2 (though we were not married at the time we lived together).
Many of us had "Just here for the forums" on our profile or some made up bullshit that would offend anyone looking.
As I recall only 5% or so of the DH userbase used the forums but that was still many hundreds (possibly thousands) of users.
