No Country for Old Men revisited

2023-07-15 at 11:30 PM UTCWhen I rented this movie at Blockbuster I made a thread about it on bad ideas wanting information about his captive bolt gun but also asking about the old shirt in the gas tank bit.
At that time I didn't have much experience starting fires but now (I still don't) but I don't believe this would work. Anytime accelerants (even gasoline) burn from the top it burns like a lamp drawing the fumes up.
What do you think? -

They have basically a ball that acts as a check valve in case the car turns over in an accident. Also why a lot of thieves punch a hole in the tank because you can't get a hose pass the check valve.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

2023-07-16 at 1:48 PM UTCIt gets pretty expensive if your taking a family to see a movie and it may suck ass. At home I don't have some nigga coughing or talking on da phone. If I want a snack or take a piss I can pause and not miss anything.
I grew up poor as fuck so I don't spend money if I don't have to and I don't have the shekels like Jiggaboo. Not all Americans wealthy, I have enough income to pay my bills and eat decently. -

2023-07-16 at 2:13 PM UTCMoney wise I'm probably what would be called lower middle class. In my life I preferred paying off my house and being debt free instead of paying to watch movies.
It's not really hard to live in the US and have your own home for example. Two blue collar workers can become debt free if they don't waste their money upgrading a new iPhone every year, buy expensive new cars or paying to watch a movie. -

Because we upgraded to a bigger nicer house with more property. With only a slightly greater amount of money. House prices going thru the roof and any houses in my area like mine at least $220K-$250K.
Doesn't really matter if it was worth $1 or 1 million because I plan on being here until I take a dirt nap. -
