And it was really bizarre to me to realize I had been doing this adulting thing for a decade successfully without any felonies and in a career I have moved up in and held multiple two year long or more positions in. Somehow it seemed to have gone by in the blink of an eye.

Unless you steal it but it's not free as the sandwich does not appear out of thin air, the company making it paid for the ingredients and you stole it from the customer before they could pay so they are not liable to pay for something they did not receive, so the store loses that $5, they "eat" the cost as the cost of doing business as there is no way to recover that money once its gone, it's gone.
This is why paki stores go SKITZO when you steal from them as they pay for every item going in there usually, from walmart it's sort of just accepted that shit will go missing not even from theft, it just happens. if someone steals stuff worth hundreds and you go to check the box and it's empty... dang you notice it fast and you have to spend more money on something to prevent or stop the LOSS because theft is a cost, therefore it qualifies as an economic activity and should be legalized and protected by the global workers union

The fact is it’s free for the parasites…however ‘someone’ is is working to pay for their existence - travel, food, housing, alcohol, drugs, and botox… it’s just not them.
