I remember being with my kids mom and this song came on when I was with my kids mom driving through the country where they played 90s country music. And I said something about the song being about this woman pimping her daughter out and she was like that's not what it's about and I'm like bitch listen to the song.

What I'm thinking is for a while, like 2013- you had this shitty country rap thing. And Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen are a poor imitation of how it was before then. Kind of like how with a lot of grunge bands got/get more credit than they deserve for not sounding like Guns n Roses.

I think there are just a lot of really simple people who like really shitty music.
You could dissect the Morgan Wallen thing on a socio-political level.
