Do you call yourself anything differently than your name in your head? I used to always call myself Mack in my head but now it's Kafka.

Just remember when I was 15 explaing to my friends about my counting things and they said that wasn't normal. Wonder what else isn't normal.

I had extreme OCD at that age, so the “that’s not normal” comment I’ve heard plenty of times.

I had it as well. What helped was seeing the OCD as a demon that wanted me to waste my time counting things, separated it from my mind so I wasn't fighting myself, and it worked. Where did I learn this? The Art of Wiccan Healing by Sally Morningstar.

I’m going to look into that book. In my case, I didn’t learn it myself (to get rid of it, I mean). My mind just switched after an event that occurred in 2015. I can’t seem to get rid of the final bits of OCD though. I already accepted I won’t be able to get rid of that but it’s ok.

Lime green calcite crystal is said to cure it and work at a distance. That was the first book on Wicca that I read. You don't think reading some new age occult book will cure your OCD but it did for me.

I think it’s all about perspective. I had gained a new-found perspective after the 2015 event, which completely changed my mind. This helped me get rid of most of my OCD. So I can totally understand how reading a book cured it for you, as it gave way to a new perspective.

I don't call myself anything in my head, the conversation there is one sided thus no need to mention any names

Well that’s a trippymindfuk in and of itself when you start mentioning any names from now on then.

I don’t consider my thoughts conversations so there’s no reason to use any names. Closed in a room, my imagination becomes the universe, and the rest of the world is missing out. Sometimes I wonder where does a thought go when it's forgotten?
It’s almost like rather quickly, and suddenly, my thoughts fell from my mind. They landed on the floor of my room, I started trying to pick the words up. They were excerpts of truth gathered from inside me, but once they hit the floor they seemed to disappear.

Thank you, that was very kind of you to say. I’m actually female and probably quickly exhausting my limited number of posts as a new member.

Why do you have a male avatar?

Sometimes I worry I'm having the same thoughts every day on a loop because forget them, that my ego is in a loop.

Also heads up everyone here is irredeemable with the exception of Scron, Meikai and Myers. And also myself but I doubt we'll be friends, it's not in my nature.

Given the nasty messages you’ve already sent me you can count on the fact that we won’t be friends.

You’ve made your nature crystal clear, and advice from you is not required.

You’re welcome! I’m surprised to hear that because I thought only guys locked themselves up in their rooms (it’s my favorite thing to do).
