That was the point made in the video. AI isn't dangerous, but the rich assholes who want to steal it for themselves to fuck the rest of us over, are.
The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

Same with crypto and literally every technology lol, you can't have a gun but if you register for a home defense laser cannon and install a camera that watches you when you sleep thats fine only $100k/mo to rent

and of course you cant get a cheaper option or make one yourself because it requires a special laser cannon license which the companies make sure costs more than anyone without a pool of bank loan investors could afford

gg this is why I smoke meth

okay I wont blame it all on society but still wtf

Now they have a robot for people with no friends, we should chip in and get one for Kafka

OpenAI isnt opem source. The Models are not open source.
  8. the man who put it in my hood Black Hole [miraculously counterclaim my golf]
OpenAI definitely is not but I mean you can make your own and there is a lot of open source stuff. The biggest ones are not and run off of Azure and AWS, which I don't like.

    https://www.tensorflow.org/

Idk im not totally an expert but I have some giant ass files and models and all kinds of shit that can run offline, not trained or finetuned though but I think maybe a system like boinc would make that easier , like distributed cloud computing

at least they are calling it open source lol

Through Oasis Labs’ partnership with Meta, Oasis is engineering solutions to fairness and bias in AI models. Preventing these weaknesses requires systems and processes in place that help measure bias while simultaneously protecting the privacy of the individuals who contribute highly sensitive demographic data for these measurements. As a design and technology partner, Oasis built an MPC based system for Meta that satisfies this critical requirement.
Oasis is working with Personal.ai to create pipelines for AI that protects the data shared by individuals for use in developing conversational AI models. These protections specifically safeguard creators and their online communities so that only with verifiable consented access, can they train AI using an individual’s data.
Oasis is developing flexible confidentiality tools for NFTs that shield information tied to an on-chain asset from public view. Beyond the common perception of being high-resolution images, NFTs are increasingly used to establish digital identities and reputations. Confidential NFTs empower creators and collectors to set conditional permissions that withhold access from an inquiring counterparty for data tied to their on-chain assets. Data NFT is a token built on Confidential NFT by Oasis that provides access to run computations on data that backs the token, consistent with policies specified by the data owner on data use.
Oasis built the infrastructure for Data DAOs to support individual data rights, reward data owners for data use, handle data with confidentiality and privacy, with verifiable transparency in its operations. This enables data sharing DAOs that can be used for analytics and training of AI models in a decentralized setting.

if you aren't using AI tools you will always be behind everyone that does use them.

Thoughts? It's kinda spooky to think of a future proto economy where we hit a point of ultra competitive that requires a lot more than 700 tools. This might feel like "when I was a kid we only had 3 channels and nowadays you have 3000 but nothing to watch!"

you aren't gonna need 100,000 AI tools, You will need an AI that can build all of this and host it on a canister running off itself in a virtual machine in it's own mind , a machine inside a machine interfaced with reality ????? somehow just to be at the edge of competition because by then we will have quantum worm hole computers the size of planets that can process reality cores. The future is coming folkx

several of those AI club tools basically do that lol it's like running China social credit bots + salesman in every personal chat you ever have with anyone, it hooks into everything like whatsapp, facebook, twitter and scans and identifies emotional vulnerability, possible sales methods you could use on them, things they would most likely respond to etc etc etc all in real time based on what they say

and does all the algo stuff with AI for a monthly fee so anyone can do it now. The best I heard was UNION BUSTER AI. It begins. If we assume society is evil and needs to be destroyed and that AI is the hero I think overall this still doesn't mean much as far as convergence is concerned but I could see that converging into some

"I have no mouth but I must scream"-esque territory, which is probably deserved if the right choices aren't made now with AI tech WHICH DOES NOT MEAN FUCKING BANNING IT IDK THAT SOUNDS LIKE A WAY TO ENSURE THIS SCENARIO 100% TO MAKE SURE ONLY THE MOST POWERFUL ARE ALWAYS AT AN EDGE
  16. aldra JIDF Controlled Opposition
you can measure AI speed and complexity as a function of the computing power running it; whoever has access to the most computing power will always have the edge, at least until there's a new computing paradigm like quantum
  17. King of Nonces Tuskegee Airman
what if I throw a really big rock at their computers how do you factor in that variable. Give your local eco fascists a rock folks and a pat on the back as you send them into wave after wave of killbots

Analysis: Bing Vision is coming to everyone soon
You’re pretty lucky if you’ve got this image recognition system enabled, then, as not many folks have at this point. Do note that it is only available on desktop PCs, by the way, as Bing Vision isn’t yet being offered on mobile devices.

Clearly, this is a useful extra string to the bow of the AI that can help in all sorts of potential ways for image-based queries, as we can see from those who’ve already tried it out on Twitter.

See a picture of a beautiful beach, lake, mountain, or town, and wonder where it is? Chuck that image at Bing and it should hopefully be able to tell you not just the location, but further details, say, on how you might plan a trip there.

The feature should be much more broadly rolled out in a few weeks, Parakhin tells us, and that will include mobile users too – in fact, it should arrive for everyone by then. Good stuff

Schools are using AI to prevent mass shootings Lul. It should scans social media profile of students for "don't go to school tomorrow" type stuff and auto warn police YOU DONT EVEN NEED TO STAY ALERT THE SCHOOL AI WILL RATTEX YOUR CHILDREN

THE GOVERNMENT WILL PREVENT THEM FROM BEING KILLED IN RANDOM VIOLENCE
