Any of you fine folks occultists? Have any experience with the occult? Do you give the occult any value? Weigh in.

I love the study of this shit, but don't practice. That's a line I won't cross. Throughout my life I've managed to date only witches somehow, I've seen some rituals, and helped prep materials, but will not practice. Something comfy about it I guess.

There's a super comfy documentary about Hitler and the occult on discovery. Watching during my patrol. Makes me wonder how much of this is cherry picked or purposeful to paint certain opinions. Probably all of it.

I have pdf version of "the book of forbidden knowledge" I bought off of the deepweb like 2 years ago...someone literally Xeroxed it and then put a ten dollar price tag on it don't know how "original" it is but it indeed looks like it comes from a legit paperback so idk if there's any further validity in that...anyone ever heard of it?

I imagine there are a few such books. Everyone will call their knowledge forbidden. Anything good in it?

I keep finding myself in the midst of these people, and I have no idea why. Iron John is the only practitioner of the occult here? Anyone have interesting experiences?

I have read a decent amount of Occult shit, but haven't practiced it extensively. I have a feeling any group of "occultist" would be deeply unimpressive, neck-beards playing Crowley, so that is a turnoff. That said, allot of very intelligent people think that there is something to it beneath the bullshit. I certainly think some techniques can be effective in some contexts. The whole field comes with so much baggage and potential for pathetic displays though.

Fucking absolutely. It's interesting, but no doubt filled with neckbeards. I find it interesting, and have, as stated dated plenty of witches. I was hoping to here some experiences from those who practice, which I dare not do

just talk to iron john for a minute. Hes a "good guy" and will give you advice on life but is ultimately about pedophilia and knows a lot about baphomet / magic..

it doesn't surprise me he's from alabama yet hates nascar and is a midgit...

I don't think I've seen him around. At least not in recent memory. I don't put any stock in the occult, but it's always interesting to hear people's experiences.

I recommend checking out Christopher Hyatt. He is brutally cynical, but he also writes about occult topics, voodoo etc.

See, shit I wish I hadn't read any of that book. This shit weighs heavily on you. This is why I don't do it myself and only act as a third party. All this shit is blasphemous to say the least, and uncomfortable at best

But at the same time, incredibly interesting, romantic for all the wrong reasons, and deeply sexual, given past experiences. Fuck.
