idk, these 4 days they've been pushing every ukrainian recon back or outright destroying them.
or maybe they are just grinding the ukrainians down to chewable size before letting them in to their trap. -

now they have enough manpower and munitions to just lay down walls of artillery fire at anything that tries to approach the line -

They have a 5 line deep defense, they aren't getting through any time soon, unless they do. Jigaboo is kinda half right in that you won't hear about the offensive until it actually happens, if they can probe probe probe and penetrate, but not every penetration will succeed.
Don't the Russians have an entire fortified city on a hill as their last line/ forward operating base. Why do I never see anything about people living in these occupied places, are they all just abandoned? Or is it "Ukranians" in these random Russian held cities that are now Russian, like if you run a store what do you just order from Russian suppliers now?
The media makes it sound like these cities are being converted into forts and completely devoid of any non military life

it's been obvious to pretty much anyone, including the real decision-makers in the US and EU that the Ukraine never had a chance of winning the war, and when they put this into motion back in 2014 (and even before that, similar attempts have gone on since the end of the Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact) they knew they were dooming hundreds of thousands just for a chance to hurt a state that threatened their power.
