EDIT: I would say I behave this way just because of my religion — in essence, I am told not to be thirsty. Plus I think some women may appreciate it, especially if everyone around is doing the opposite. But funnily enough, Islamic women think I’m gay because I don’t look at them like others do.

2023-05-15 at 12:44 AM UTCI feel uncomfortable around men who aren't attracted to me because it makes them seem unpredictable and I don't understand them. I feel repulsed by them. There needs to be a balance, women want to be seen as attractive but not only as that, they don't want to be objectified.

I can hold eye contact with women if I am engaging with them in a conversation. When I said I don't look at women, I meant I don't ogle at them when I'm out in the streets and I avoid eye contact with female strangers as well. But if I am talking to a woman who's working as a cashier or anything like that, I can easily hold eye contact -- that is not a problem for me. I'm not socially awkward or inept. I mean, I have acquired some awkwardness from being a NEET on and off since 2015 but as I learned last year during my time in a vocational school is that it is easily fixed once I start going to school. Right now, I'm enjoying my break before college starts. I'm going to study computer science. It's gonna be a sausage fest. -
