that's just talking about forcing ISPs to log customers' connections, they've been doing that in a bunch of countries for a while now, easy enough to defeat using a VPN or tor or similar if you're worried
I'd be more concerned with stuff like intel's management engine -

what if you use term and have other browsers like regular web browsers also open and minimized and something like slack or discord also minimized and you go back and forth between them minimizing and bringing up some? -
