   So if I hear the scuff of a boot while wakling through a dark alley and see people emerge from hiding spots and position themselves for an ambush I should just assume the proximation distances my ear perceives with sound are false, and that 50% of the ones I can see are "Shadow Ambushers" and that if attacked I could be fighting an illusion to distract me, make me kick air while the real attacker runs up and stabs me in the gut.
   
   How do I know which is real and which is the shadow illusion???
   
   Wouldn't it be better to instead become so powerful that no force, not even the illusions of darkness could stand a chance at defeating me even if they sent a billion of them and I fought them all at once, alone and blindfolded (the only armor a real warrior needs)
