why do so many supposed tough guys or people in prison or in gangs always look for the cheap shot or the hockey pull the shirt over head or sucker punch or distraciton than attack from behind when fighting? like i never even think of such shit when im in the middle of a meelee or even threatened.

Because there's no such thing as a fair fight. Used to have a friend that would say only a sucker gets sucker punched lol. I don't think I agree with that but it's anything goes in a street fight and cheap shots usually are effective
