2023-05-10 at 8:07 PM UTCEstimated I need 25 to get through everything. It means I have to do 8 hours tonight and I will only be awake 9 more hours. I don't listen to my hypnosis for fatigue because it tells me to forget my dreams at night. Idk how I'm gonna do this when I have chronic fatigue.

Originally posted by Kafka I think I'm lucky to have been born when I was, a decade sooner and it'd be a mental hospital, if I was born now I'd be diagnosed with autism too early because of new tests/awareness and that would cripple me because my family would have never treated me as normal. I didn't get diagnosed until I was 17, and I'm glad it was aspergers and not just autism because I had self doubts at the time but then read about famous people with it.

America endures much more violence than Australia, because there are so many guns around in the States. -

2023-05-11 at 12:50 AM UTCThere are many other places with far less guns and way more violence
Banning guns might stop criminals and thugs, or lone woofs.
But what about terrorists? What about lone woofs that make a zip gun or suicide vest from pool cleaning chemicals?
What about all the rocks and mountains that contain ores to produce these things, gotta crack down on illegal mining
You got a loicense for that firewood and assault axe sir??

Graham Allison's argument was that it is theoretically possible for individuals with relatively modest means and expertise to create a nuclear weapon using a small amount of fissionable material and readily available equipment. He claimed that with the right materials, several master's level engineering students with several hundred thousand dollars and off-the-shelf equipment could make a device that would explode. This claim is based on the fact that nuclear weapons are fundamentally simple devices, relying on the basic principles of nuclear physics to release a tremendous amount of energy. Allison argued that the greatest obstacle to building a nuclear weapon is obtaining the necessary fissionable material, such as highly enriched uranium or plutonium. However, he noted that with the right connections, it is possible for determined individuals to obtain such material on the black market. Overall, Allison's argument highlights the need for strong international efforts to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons and secure existing nuclear material.
