Why do some people capitalize Seemingly Random Parts of their Sentences online?

Zanick motherfucker [my p.a. supernal goa]
Do they just think those words are important and seek to emphasize them by wrongly capitalizing the initial letter? Or do they actually confuse those words for proper nouns? Would someone with an IQ below 85 or somebody who knows one intimately enough to understand please enlighten me?

I think its emphatic. Like a Freudian slip but deliberate.

My dad has Facebook friends who do it and I estimate them to be morons, I'm really glad he doesn't do that. If one has to, and proper formatting isn't available, I think it acceptable to capitalize an ENTIRE word, but I still cringe when I see the wrong WORD emphasized in this way.

It's confusion on my part. All nouns are capitalized in German and I was taught you guys do the same with names so I capitalize the name of cities and countries and substances etc. but I don't see anyone else doing it so I dunno. I'm just rolling with it.

Because it adds a kind of Schizophrenic Emphasis to certain words, unofficially making them "proper nouns" within the context of that sentence. This can be used to show, for instance, that you're referring to a sort of Ideal in the philosophical sense. For added effect. I rarely do it, but it's got its place in writing I think.
