This is a blast from the past rooted in the Zoklet days when we'd get together and watch horror movies every Wednesday at 8 PM EST. We had lots of fun back then when we started doing this in 2013. Back then Michael Scott, FON and I were the ones organizing it but I think they vanished along with Zoklet. It's 2023 now and after speaking to Number313 we figured we could revive this tradition, ten years later. To start off, I decided for our first movie we're going to watch a classic Thai horror movie from 2004 called Shutter. It's got English subtitles and it's been almost a decade since I watched it. The next one will be decided by votes. I'll make sure to bump this thread an hour in advance before the movie starts as a reminder. The link to the movie will be posted down below. We're going to do one horror movie a week!

We used to start at 8 PM EST but then we also pushed it back to 6 PM EST because that was a more favorable time.The following users say it would be alright if the author of this post didn't die in a fire!

2023-04-24 at 3:41 PM UTCThere's few movies I can get into with subtitties...it's too distracting from the action. As a first movie choice for this "club" and subtitled one is a bullshit choice which is likely to scare away (and not because of the horror) many a possible prospective member.

Do you remember if it was American or Thai? If it was the former it was the remake. If it was the latter it was Thai. Okay, so 1am for you means 2am for me on Saturday which means 8pm EST. Like I said earlier we can always change the time since I read the thread from Zoklet yesterday and it was basically dependent on your sleeping schedule. -

I just told aldra we could pick another movie instead since he didn’t enjoy that movie. So if you have any suggestions we can opt for another one. Are you going to be there? -

Depends on the time/place and movie.
Perhaps get about 5 lined up and do a poll to pick one. -

Upcoming Friday 8 PM EST currently. But we can work around that as well; it’s just a proposal, really- one we are going with right now unless it’s inconvenient for people. Sudo told me Monday and Tuesday works better for people. Is that true for you? -

Where do you live? 8 PM EST means 8 PM in New York, 7 PM in Ohio and 6 PM in Washington, D.C. If that time is inconvenient we can pick another time, either push it back. Whatever is best. -
