She says she sleeps better in the countryside. She likes living here in my mom's house. Not surprising, it's pretty swanky here.
Sad thing is that my mom hates her, and has even been working more hours so she doesn't have to be around her. -

She's so lazy she won't even sign up for a medical card (free medical and dental care, which she is entitled to). She sleeps until 11am every day, and goes to bed around 10pm.
I'd tolerate this if she was 13 or 14 or something. She's 42.
It's the end of the world. Who cares anymore? The smart people are just hunkering down and detaching from this failed experiment in human governance. -

She didn't get on the bus to Toulouse airport with me in Paris, despite me having a last minute change of heart and inviting her on the bus. We were to take the train, but our train had been cancelled due to protests due to Macron's pensions reforms.
She said "I'll go with you if you promise me" and I cut her off "I don't promise you anything".
She walked away. I flew home with a nice spare Ryanair seat beside me.
I contacted her, she was in Krakow, where we had been on holiday previously. She was upset and crying. I was upset and crying too. I asked her back to Ireland, invited her back, and paid for her flight.
So yeah, I asked her back. Although since then she has made efforts, things haven't gotten much better. -

Is it cruelty to drown something that tortures smaller animals to death? And who cares? -

I thought the protests were just pro-forma bullshit. Protest, show the flag, go back to sleep.
I forgot about the inflation, which has made all us Euro-salarimans between 20-40% poorer just over the last 6 months.
And I certainly didn't think the protests would make their way all the way to the Blackrock HQ in Paris. Blackrock is the epicentre of jedi financial power. Even @hkuppy was shocked when they got raided.

2023-04-16 at 5:35 PM UTCThere's hope. I thought Belfast was a lot cause embracing trans but the backlash is starting esp in hospitals. Women don't want trans nurses changing their clothes. I rarely take part in political stuff bcus I don't want my picture in the paper but I'm gonna buy an Adult Human Female shirt.
