a lot of news articles were automatically generated as a sort of 'skeleton' article based on keywords from the wire, then passed on to editors to fill out a little even before these things were made publicly available
any job that relies on skills that can be learnt from a body of data (ie. any job) and mechanical skills that can be performed by a machine (ie. almost any job) is going to be automated eventually

machines are statistically less likely to fuck up than humans, especially when taking emotional (outside of work) problems, fatigue, potential drug use etc. into account. if a machine somehow loads an artillery round incorrectly and blows itself up, the company doesn't need to pay out its robot family. once they've been sufficiently tested, machines will absolutely replace humans in high-risk occupations.
