The most courageous people in the world experience failure about just as much as they experience success. That's because they aren't afraid to try/fail. Wariat is one of these people. Tara is not one of these people.

Wariat is so much more respectable than Tara...because he possesses the courage to go after what he wants... regardless of how much failure hurts. And it hurts a lot. But wariat keeps going ...he keeps trying. Tara gave up a long time ago.

Wariat is more respectable than the vast majority of people here because he keeps trying in the face of repeated failure. Not many other posters possess that kind of courage/determination. Most others have already given up.

Rejection and failure are simply part of life if the sample size is big enough. As much as rejection and failure hurt...courageous people accept / tolerate/deal with that hurt, pain and suffering
.. and keep trying. That's why I respect wariat it so much. That and the fact that he's willing to be honest about his preferences / opinions even though much of it is illegal... and certainly against the status quo. It's easy to be a part of the status quo... and really difficult to not be a part of it.

As much as failure and rejection hurt... I make sure to keep punishing myself with them as frequently as possible.... in order to attempt to make myself stronger. Sometimes it seems like that only breaks me down further. Sure is better than giving up, however. Yeah .. the last 99 cold approaches I made ...and job applications I filled out... got rejected. To stop trying, and never find out about that hundredth girl and 100th job... would pain me way more than to keep getting rejected. At least I'm still trying.
