It's far less likely you will be able to fight with 6 bullets in your chest and head vs a beanbag in the gut.
Shoot to kill works pretty much every time...beanbags don't.
I'd much sooner have a handgun in my hand if someone broke into my home than a fucking beanbag gun -

Handguns with regular ammo have no reliable advantage at preventing this either in this hypothetical.
Other than psychological factors that beanbag rounds actually wouldn't undermine and might actually enhance (perceived force). -

What do you mean by regular ammo? I keep hollow points in mine. -
2023-03-29 at 1:22 PM UTCPepper rounds are actually better than beanbugs and bullets AND tasers
rubber bullets are better than pepper rounds though
there's a reason chemical weapons are banned INTERNATIONALLY while everything else is handled on a more local scale.

It's surprisingly easy to obtain those two items. diphenylamine is used as a treatment to prevent apple rot, banned in Europe but still available in North America from two companies. I checked a bunch of SDS and it's just DPA mixed with a solvent and stabilizer.
Aresnic is a bit more tricky and I don't really know of any ways to easily get arsenious oxide. I did however find quite a few arsenic ores and minerals for sale on ebay. Making the oxide is easy you just have to combust arsenic.
Tear gas CS gas is pussy shit
One hit from some ADAMSITE gas and you will be puking your guts out for 12 HOURS rendering you a vomiting lump of meat crying on the floor with only 5-10 minute latency which I'm sure if they kept researching it instead of banning it like fags they could reduce that to a few seconds

Cool story, irrelevant to discussion (the myth of immediate stopping power of handguns as a reliable counterfactual to less lethal weapons) -

It's not a myth
The cops and military didn't choose bullets over beanbags just because.
Jesus wept...Fucking beanbags...lololol -

lol Let Jiggaboo put a hollow point in your chest and see how peppy you are. You'll drop like a rock with a round to the noggin or spine. -

Simply does not matter, not enough tissue damage for reliable instant incapacitation inside standard target zones.
The simple fact is that the intended lethality of handguns is completely irrelevant for arguments about time limited decisions.
It's brought up every time in this exact brand of discussion by internet retards, it's basically part of the "script" of this stupid argument and it's a bad part of that script.
I am happy to see these scripts at our 1000000 times on the internet, I consider it part of the soul of the internet and of forums, but this is a bad and cringe line that is way past its expiration date. -

We weren't even remotely discussing what the military or cops should generally use.
Just whether or not your stupid bot reply makes any sense in the specific context of extremely time limited use-of-force decisions. -
2023-03-29 at 1:47 PM UTCBro I've killed lots of critters in my life and shot placement is what matters. It's common knowledge the average civilian is a better shot than the average cop. Yeah getting hit in the arm or leg may not stop them but a couple center mass will.

Nice and if the guy was about to fire back anyway neither does he.
I.e. reliable stopping power of handguns as a counterfactual against the use of less lethal weapons in the same situation is a myth. -

2023-03-29 at 1:52 PM UTCWhy didn't any of them have a taser or mace/baton etc? The militarization of people with latent fear of their fellow citizens, insecurities and a thirst for respect and authority will keep resulting in heavy handed enforcement of the states authority. There were like 20 heavily armed officers there for someone who was not a danger.
Obviously the guy was mentally ill and stupid but that shouldn't be a death sentence. What a waste of resources -

Read the last couple of pages...tasers/mace/baton are not always effective. If you see someone with what you suspect is a gun or is a direct threat to you you use deadly force. That's ultimately the perps choice not the cops. -

Read the document. You are simply wrong. There is no reliable means for handguns to incapacitate by tissue damage. Humans are psychologically conditioned to fall on being shot, that's it.
You also seem to be lying about having shot a bunch of critters. Otherwise you would already know if you don't place your shots well a buck can drag for miles with half a dozen 7mm in its lungs. -

Actually it would be harder and more immediately so due to the blunter impact. Vs you reacting to tissue damage (not even guaranteed depending on whether drugs are in use and other biochemical and psychological factors)
