I never liked audioslave they were pretty bad, but I used to watch mtv when i was six years old and sing black hole sun before going to skool, but my favorite sound garden song was jesus christ pose

If I was the kind of person to be sad about death I would probably be sad. Audioslaves first album was awesome, their second one was ok, their third one kind of sucked.
If he actually did kill himself I wonder if they will release that information. Apparently when Kurt Cobaine killed himself it inspired a lot of copy cats. I personally think courtney love killed him because she was jealous that she would never be the star he was.
Another Hollywood hit. He was on a tour which still had sold out shows to play, and he was obviously excited on Facebook and Twitter about playing those shows. If he really wanted to kill himself, he would have waited until those shows were done. He was just worth more $$$ dead than alive, that's all. Robbin Williams, Prince, David Bowie... the list goes on and on.
I was really sad to hear this when I woke up. He was always one of my favorite writers. I've wanted to meet him and share a beer at his restaurant since I was a teenager.
when I posted about chris cornell commiting suicide i just pulled that out of my ass because I knew that that was how the media was going to portray it but who knows.. most well adjusted people especially at his age and success just don't hang themselves..

Yeah it's weird. He was apparently telling the crowd how awesome they were and making fun of the next crowd they had to play for on Friday because they 'were no Detroit.'
I get that depression can be very misleading and hidden in people, but he seemed in normal spirits. Maybe a case of auto-erotic asphyxiation gone wrong? David Carradine?
