Well originally on the BBC Model B computer, but I mostly played it on the ZX Spectrum..(and yes later the Amiga).

It was pretty much ported to every platform in it's day though....even the NES.

    oh it's a whatchamacallit

a foighter poilet first person-y game. I forget the official genre name

I never got into those type of games myself but I could see them making a comeback, maybe thats what elite dangers is trying to do or the updates with the one game uhhh whats it called.. big space game that sucked for years and was overhyped as fuck but then years later became decent. The name escapes me

But yeah i've always been more of a Janes WW2 kinda guy which is my exposure to the FLIGHT genre. MS flight sim looks neat though

i'm a big KSP-head which is kinda like a retard version of a flight sim

No, it was more of a space trading game with 1st person shooty bits in it.

Elite is a space trading video game. It was written and developed by David Braben and Ian Bell and originally published by Acornsoft for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron computers in September 1984.[1] Elite's open-ended game model, and revolutionary 3D graphics led to it being ported to virtually every contemporary home computer system and earned it a place as a classic and a genre maker in gaming history.
