    i dunno man last time i needed to print something i just went to hte libarry in Martinez and had the lady help me put quarters onto the printer card, honestly none of it really made any sense but i got my prints and it only costed like a buck

    I ended up paying $30 for new ink for my cannon ts3322 that I got on Black Friday of 2019 for $20.
    The ink cost me $30.

    Ink jets are shit. Go laser or don't bother. Even a cheap second hand one.

    A cheap good one, I just got one of these...It's pretty good and of course buy the aftermarket ink refills off ebay.

    Just make sure you can find cheap refills. A lot of printers sell cheap because the refills are expensive.

    I use a Brother printer. Best printer I’ve ever had. Not sure of the exact one, but it looks like this:

    Whatever you choose, avoid ink jet. Cartridges are shit and dry out. You won’t have that issue with toner.

    I have a HP laser printer for regular b/w printing, the inkjet is just for when I need color and two sided color copies...ie when I'm printing a PDF manual or such.

    Laser is the way to go if you don't need color.

    I got a HP laser printer for $20 from Goodwill computer outlet, it's been solid for 3yrs.
