They (starknet) are valued at like 100 billion and haven't even released a product yet.
The valuation will stick, it's a shoe in. This is the next Oracle or Sun Microsystems of Crypto and banks already work with them, they are fully regulatory compliant and anyone who doesn't go with them will be left behind. If you invest in FAAG at all or big tek I would give these guys consideration, pretty sure they are public

They are huge "newbies" to the cryptosphere so they just assume they proabably had to launch a token. I'm guessing they are probably experts in their actual tech fields and know what they are doing there as they actually bring something to the table, basically they made a deployable SDK API compatible platform for web3+ / web8 for when ETH does it's next upgrade and becomes the hivemind
Classic "Token not needed" Situation like with Chainlink. The "LINK" token and "STARKNET" whatever do nothing but exist as a way for them to raise capital. The coins aren't MINED like bitcoin or monero, they can only be used within their own respective networks.
Literally useless, chainlink is still cool though
