2023-03-02 at 3:14 AM UTCno mention of deconvulution but it does reference entropy and https://www.nature.com/articles/s41567-019-0648-8 so imma just assume you're right
no point in me doing more than a ctrl+f, since i don't know enough about regular computing to be able to interpret an abstract on that subject, and i know even less about quantum mechanics and quantum computing. -

blame schroedinger, man it's 100% his fault. everyone just thinks of a cat in a box and opening the box where they'd use their peepers to measure the state. also most people don't remember the poison activated by radioactive decay i don't think, it's just a cat in a box. -
2023-03-02 at 3:21 AM UTCim kinda hazy on the definition of observation but i do know measurement in any capacity qualifies whether humans are involved in the process or not. got a vague memory about a photon interacting with a polarizing enhancement qualifying as being observed too but idk.

2023-03-02 at 3:25 AM UTCyeah I'm not sure if that's actually what it refers to, it just seemed to fit and came to mind because I was reading about the metrics they use to benchmark quantum computers a while back
people talk about 'observation' relating to a person actually looking at something and causing quantum effects, the idea that consciousness alters reality. 'observation' in this context actually refers to the fact that you don't actually 'see' anything in a vacuum; to observe an object you need to hit it with light or sound waves and analyse the way they deflect in order to understand the object's location and motion. the key discovery leading to quantum theory was that waves carry 'quanta', material that can affect the object's movement. it's like if you were in a lookout over a harbour and you had a telescope that not only allowed you to see ships in the distance, but also constantly sent a gust of wind at whatever you pointed it at. you don't need to look through the telescope for the wind to push on anything it's pointed at. also the sun is made of telescopes. -

but like, "you can't know exactly where anything is and also know its movement" has always seemed to me to just be... axiomatically true. at all scales, not just the subatomic. to understand motion, an object has to be moving, but if it's moving then it can't be at one point in space-time (because if it was, it wouldn't be moving - it might be at another point in space-time one T/planck unit of time later, on the next tick, the next frame of animation so to speak... but there's no information contained within the first frame to indicate where an object will be in the next (at two T) since it's essentially a still shot of the universe with no movement). at macro scale this isn't a relevant feature of reality but it is a feature (for all human intents and purposes the approximations we're capable of are usually good enough - you don't need to know where another planet is to within 1 micron of error, let alone no error).
that's just uncertainty, what does it have to do with quantum wave functions and collapsing them. idgi. or... hmm... i sorta get it. its on the edge of my consciousness and i could probably arrive at the truth by first principles going from here if i meditated on it or something. like, a wave is a thing in motion and you look at one frame of that motion (observe it) it can no longer be a wave so it has to 'become' as a particle? hmmmm. -
2023-03-02 at 6 AM UTCim lost in the sauce boys this is the closest i've come to fundamentally understanding this basic aspect of quantum mechanics and im sure im off base about a ton but golly my wasted potential scares me

"no it's not retard"
"yeah bro it's 4 and 1 dark matter" -

"humans" fail that test tho vinny! no matter how much you pressure them they'll refuse to say it. are you saying it's ok to dismantle their bodies despite their protests because they're only machine? because if they're machines that'd be fine. i take my computer apart, it's not a problem. -

then theyre just robots in human bodies.
real human will look for any and every opportunity to say nigger in whatever language nigger can be conveyed. -

Kinda wild to think about

not really, outside of stuff that needs specific functionality you can pretty much just use the same template and change the text and images around
it's hwy shit like wix and blogspot are so popular -
2023-03-03 at 1:24 PM UTCyeah I like messing with toolkits/templates more tbh than hand coding or AI cheating or paying some paki.
Seems like all these big hat devs are just tool heads like oh YEAH YOU BET I DO FULL STACK ! I GOT A BRIEFCASE WITH EVERYTHING I NEED
RIp to the nothing forever guys, they bailed on their community lol I think they saw the writing on the wall and took the cash and ran. I can't blame them TBH, no fucking way in hell they were ever getting back on twitch and then it was just one problem after another and people spamming TRANY in their discord non stop and calling them nazis because their AI bugged out :/ good going 4chan retards
