I remember there was a time in my life when I was homeless living in a shelter and going to college on the bus ..
My father told me I could come home but I didn't..
I went to school got a lil job and stayed in the shelter..
They told me I was the quickest to move out the shelter in the history of it being there ..
That's what they told me..
I refused to get comfortable there..
It was so many people comfortable with being there...your own room..your own fridge.. unlimited access to the workout room..just free this free that ..
And now I have a beautiful home..fly car and I don't need anything..
I'm blessed enough to give to people who're in the situation I used to be in
When people see you shining they don't know how far you've come
And when they see you praising God..they don't know what you've been through
God has brought me through the storm..
That's why I'm happy..that's the reason why I sing
I give God all the praise and the Glory.. because I know he's worthy ..and he knows what I've been through..and brought me out ..
Not only did he bring me out..he's made it so that I thrive in life
