I accidentally stumbled across this age old food this past weekend.
I was making a couple of baked potatoes in my air fryer and they were not quite ready when I cut them open, still a bit hard in the middle...so I mashed the inside up a bit, slapped some butter on and put them back in the air fryer for another 15 or 20 mins.
When I took them out they were tasty and delicious and I though "Damn, I wish I had some sour cream to put on these twats"...as is I just ate them with the butter, salt and pepper.
I'm thinking I might revisit this weekend and pickup some sour cream, spring onions and perhaps bacon bits to liberally spread on them good selves.
THOUGHTS????!?!?

I wonder if this is how twice baked potatoes were originally invented/discovered.

Sounds good my dude. Although I don't have an air fryer. Been thinking of getting one tho.
Honestly my microwave has been sitting unplugged and unused for idk..at least a year. Well my ex used to use it but I don't see any benefit to making my food radioactive before I eat it so I wouldn't touch it with a 10 ft pole.
I do have a toaster oven but I never use it either I just use my big boy oven.
I love taters tho I'm gonna make some kinda tater dish today

Bake for about 50mins in the airfryer on 400f.
Scoop out the tater
Mash up with sour cream, chopped up spring onion, butter, bacon bits, salt and pepper.
Spoon back into the skins
Back in air frier for another 15-20 mins (Again at 400f)
Serve with sour cream, freshly cut salsa, your favorite condiment and a contented feeling knowing that you just created a oral masterpiece.
