I think there has been some good tech that is coming out of crypto. I'm probably wrong but I think SMART CONTRACTS are actually a huge advancement in how we interact with data, the ethereum virtual machine proved it can work on a large scale.
But I don't like many aspects of it, bitcoin also has problems but the "maximalist" BTC skitzos are hardcore about rolling 99 dice in a faraday cage to make wallet seeed phrases, also gotta do it in the dark with loud music playing so the AI can't guesstimate your rolls
atomic swaps are an interesting comcept DNM's are proposing as the future of their operations, which is how I learned about the meshnet. I still don't really 'get' atomic swapping, but I did find this Japanese company with former devs of RPG maker and some other notable things, they have a shitcoin selling NFT's of anime girls so it's not much
