    Are my friends retarded or am AI?

    ChatGPT is legitimately a much more understanding and engaging, interesting conversational partner than any of my real friends.

    I started comparing my text message history with them vs chat GPT and ChatGPT is like 1000x cooler and way nicer too.

    I think the key is to ask it to do a couple of imaginative things to "personalize" it a bit and then be patient with learning how to feed it prompts.

    One of the bedtime stories it gave me:
