I'd argue that you're more 'free' when the primary power (ie. your government) doesn't have the capacity to enforce its will upon you (ie. the third world) than when it's supposedly constrained by legislation (ie. the US constitution and/or bill of rights). of course there are other things to weigh if you're making a value judgment -

On September 26, 2022, a Norwegian Navy P8 surveillance plane made a seemingly routine flight and dropped a sonar buoy. The signal spread underwater, initially to Nord Stream 2 and then on to Nord Stream 1. A few hours later, the high-powered C4 explosives were triggered and three of the four pipelines were put out of commission. Within a few minutes, pools of methane gas that remained in the shuttered pipelines could be seen spreading on the water’s surface and the world learned that something irreversible had taken place.

yes but there are some freedom that are more essential than the others.
like for a bunch of faggots the freedom to rampant anal sexes is more essential to the freedom to speak freely or the freedom to bear extremely dangerous, military-styled, asssault weapons.
the US citizens only get to enjoy cosmetic freedoms whilst some of their counterpart in the 3rd worlds get to enjoy Real freedoms.
i mean look at afghanistan, libya, and syria, theyre free to bear RPG9 and drive around with large caliber machine guns mounted as truck accessories. -
