Big Spy Balloon spotted over America

  1. #1
The Department of Defense announced on Thursday they have been monitoring a suspected Chinese spy balloon floating over the state of Montana for over two days.

Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder told NBC News, “The United States government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that is over the continental United States right now.”

Ryder went on to say once the US Government was notified about the floating balloon they immediately started to notify officials in Montana to protect sensitive information.

The balloon is the size of three school buses

It's visible with the naked eye.

Embarrassingly it may have been first spotted by citizens, not by the trillion dollar US defense establishment.

inb4 it's their own weather balloon that they lost track of

not sure why the Chinese would even use balloons for this; their surveillance satellites are able to track and trace individual vehicles

instead of tracking every person doing a litty tiktok and bugging their smartphone now they can see farms and roofs.

Or the inclination..it's a $10 balloon, not worth wasting a $200,000 missile on it. As if the chinks don't have a dozen spy satellites over the US anyway

So basically the US Military isn't doing anything about the balloon because they're so competent?

I have to go with Jiggaboo on this one and call weather balloon. It would be a real shitty way to gather intel if it can't be guided, hell you can look at US military installations on google earth. lol

“It is a civilian airship used for research, mainly meteorological, purposes. Affected by the Westerlies and with limited self-steering capability, the airship deviated far from its planned course. The Chinese side regrets the unintended entry of the airship into US airspace due to force majeure,” the spokesperson said in a statement.

US believes China doesn't have control over movements of suspected spy balloon and it relies on jet stream

    uughhh ya think???

...fucking dumbass Americans making themselves look even more stupid
