Well no not really, you're burning gas, getting wet and not learning anything new...and btw, 95%+ of the visible stars in our galaxy are still alive...you'd know that if you spent more time learning than driving around chingchong land looking for cheap ladybois.

the joy of going thru winding roads between cemetery hills and thru the newly tarred road between flat paddy field as far as eyes can see and crashing into bugs at high and dangerous speed is just as educational and refreshing, ... and a lot more manly.

bending over and looking into an eyepiece in tandem with another man isnt something every man would enjoy.

I did all that on a real motorcycle when you were still on your rickety bamboo pedal cycle...WHILE still astronomizing...learn to have more than 1 interest/hobby/pursuit at a time

vinny, have you thought about real travel? seeing the world? different cultures? new experiences? rather than riding your moped with 1 billion other moped users up some shitty muddy trail that had a landslide two weeks ago?

ive been to flodida once and theres nothing special about the experience.

sure, its odd that a suite in the US has 3 TVs, two in the rooms and one mounted besides the toilet bowl, spigots that took me a minute to figure out how to work it, switchless outlets ...

"americans" prefer to do it the barbaric way of pulling the plug, different sets of cars,

but then people are still people, different shades and colors and what not, in the end its all the same. its not like your going to places where no one has been before. millions have been there before you, in every touristy destination.

unless you have special access to restricted military sites, off-limit areas or archeological sites, being tourist is just plain stupid and pointless.

i live in a touristy city where 10s of million tourists come each year and i would often mock them when they wander into non-touristy areas.

i enjoy asking if theyre lost.
