Only buying mirrors and eyepiece if that's what you mean. I'm going to use some other 16 in tube as a structural base and apply fiberglass to it.
It's not too hard to make, collimation etc not too hard, all things considered they are pretty simple objects so if you calculate well and do some testing it doesn't seem that difficult. I'm gonna make a 3-ring clamp mount that can be placed on a Dob.

Idk if you ever said it but I’ve always assumed your family moved to Australia to get away from like some totalitarian genocidal regime. But in light of this I wonder if pol pot might not be better than snakes, wombats, and bogans

and yeah wombats are normally pretty docile but there have been some really angry ones here lately. apparently a guy down the street got attacked by one, nobody would've believed his story that it charged him down and tried to bite and scratch at him if a guy he lived with didn't see it happen and chase it away
