speedometer doesnt work after heavy rain

   then it works again, after things dry out a bit. has aftermarket cruise control which taps VSS wire at computer, and the cruise continues to work fine even when speedo is out of order. wut u fink

   A lot of newer cars use a VSS (Vehicle speed sensor) not a cable. You might have a dodgy sensor.

   If it has a tbi350 its old. Like 1990s or older. I think they stoped tbi 350s in like 1995 cuz the 96 is when the vortec came out. On my rams the speedos are driven off the transfer case
