I don’t know if a trolley problem is really a “basic moral situation” given it’s a thought experiment generally proposed for the propose of challenging moral intuition, or that Greek virtue ethics are incapable of response to them. I wasn’t like trying to sell anyone on virtue ethics in any case, I was just pointing out that it’s kind of an exotic way of looking at the world to us and that it was funny how Odysseys was supposed to be this heroic chad but he tried to dodge the draft and chickened out of storming Troy and let his homie get merc’d and this was like considered him being cool
I meant the Greek virtue ethics part not the movie -

(No disrespect Sophie if you're not dead and reading this). This is her. She has a nub tail. 🥰 Her previous owner never really played with her or gave her any cat toys at all, so naturally I went out and bought her a couple dozen toys and some scratch pads and houses and treats and I'm gonna spoil her. I think she's overwhelmed so far but she seems to be happy. My bed is her safe space and she won't stop trying to hug me. Thanks.

it was an iconic cheese brand here until coons made them change their name to CHEER. they literally ran ad campaigns for the last 50 years or so with the slogan 'don't say cheese... say COON' -

Scientists have devised a universal test for autism in babies that uses a single strand of hair.
It analyzes the sample for levels of metals like lead and aluminum — which are higher in autistic children.

Mercury, lead, and aluminum levels were positively correlated with maternal fish consumptions, living nearby gasoline stations, and the usage of aluminum pans, respectively. Conclusion. Levels of mercury, lead, and aluminum in the hair of autistic children are higher than controls. Environmental exposure to these toxic heavy metals, at key times in development, may play a causal role in autism.

I blame it all on the aluminium foil -
