You should do it, I've been to lots of places but your close to one of my favorites. Wyoming, I really like going for hours without seeing another person. Plus some beautiful places there and if you like people head to Teton or Yellowstone. -

Sometimes there's cheap flights to Ireland, we could hang out if you ever got here. Ireland can be a good place to visit, but like anywhere it's only worthwhile if you get to know some locals.

No, I just like driving around like the Bighorns and the desert areas in the SW part.Lots of long lonely roads with towns of like 5 people.
Makes TN seem crowded when I get home. But I'm to much a pussy to handle winters there. lol -

I'm sure you're not a pussy in other regards of life that people who live in cold winters still would be.
I've just been to that particular lodge a couple times and was curious if you were familiar with it. In the little bighorns. I like your style though. Just cruising and taking in the MAJESTY, lol. It is a pretty area fo sho.
The new kewl thing to do is get an 8k ultra double HD virtual reality headset and just recreate every experience while sitting in the comforts of your home with beer on hand and toilet access at all times. At least that's what the kids are telling me these days -

I'm kinda old and like the real thing like the constant wind there and every place has its own unique smell to me. Sometimes I smell something and a place comes to mind. I prefer exploring the US now and haven't been on a plane since 911. -

Yeah I was half joking it's just kinda funny you can almost practically visit every place ever via VR but of course and obviously it isn't even close to the same of actually experiencing it. I feel like it's its own drug, of sorts- traveling and exploring. Once you pop you cant stop. Adversely, if you never really experience such a thing, you don't necessarily know what you're missing, and you don't have to.
Both ways are fine I guess at the end of the day if you can be content with whatever then who gives a shit but as an older gentleman myself I would certainly agree more with you and appreciate the goodness and experience that comes with IRL experiences. -
