Cum Wednesday I'll be really busy with school, taking five classes like I should've last semester.
I foolishly listened to Riptotse who said college is too hard for him to do five classes and to not overwhelm myself lol
Within two weeks I realized I was a lot smarter than that dumb fuck and I shouldve stayed in all my classes instead of considering myself his equal and only doing what he can keep up with.

My only regret of 2022 was thinking Riptotse and I were mentally similar in terms of intellect and taking his advice in regards to my college education.

OK this is how easy college is. I'm just a HS blue collar guy, my wife has a degree and I use to do some of her school work. Hell even my teen kids use to do it. You don't even have to do great work to get a decent grade so I'm not surprised they pass Bradley.

Was discussing this shit with one of the other guys today. We get staff coming in who barely know anything. Colleges push so much stuff back on the employers to teach that most of them barely cover anything at all in their computer science degree courses besides the extreme basics. For instance we get guys joining who claim to know Java programming, but don't know Spring, Lombok, IntelliJ and have extremely basic Git skills. They barely know what an API is and don't know the de facto differences between REST and SOAP. In other words colleges graduate computer science graduates who are functionally useless and unemployable.
It's similar with other courses. For instance accounting schools turn out grads who can't even file a tax return. It's taking advantage of the graduates.

Basically just go to college for the qualification and the high level theoretical knowledge, but you need to also work to acquire basic skills and practical experience. If you don't you'll be at the bottom of the pile when it comes to looking for work, cos employers want actual skills and ability that can help them run their businesses, not just a bare bones qualification showing you did the minimum amount of work you were expected to do and nothing else.

I doubt I could write anything like computer science related college work but I did do stuff for her in bullshit classes everyone has to take.
College is mostly a business to make money these days and fairly useless if your not taking something in the math or sciences. You seem like a pretty smart guy DT so you can learn the basics and pick up a book to learn more if you need too.

Sadly that is how most places are these days, 1-2 guys do 90% of the work. Even in jobs where you don't even need to be very smart most people are useless and retarded.
