   I know that some online services do not require a CVV for payment. I am still not sure why and what the difference(if any) in the transactions are.
   
   Does anyone know what the differences are?

   One requires the CVV. There's no difference, it's like asking for the billing address/zip code. It's supposed to be more secure.

   look at the permission your apps its are asking.
