I was a member of the first "Computer Studies" class my school ever did, I guess it would have been 1981 or so. We learned about punchcards and "ferrite store cores" even though they were already obsolete by then. The class teacher was actually the Math teacher and he knew little more than we did. He was basically reading the course work a couple of weeks ahead of us.
One of our homeworks was to write a little game in a few lines of basic (maybe less than 20? I don't remember) I wrote a game that used a couple of commands (INT and RND) that we hadn't covered yet..but that I had learned myself because I had a ZX81 at home and was way ahead of the class work.
The teacher accused me of cheating and copying the code from a book rather than writing it myself ( mostly because he didn't know what it did).
He grilled me to go through the code line by line to "prove" to him I knew what each line was doing...when I got to the line including INT and RND he was half listening and looking the commands up in his book.
After I "proved" to him I knew he told me to stop learning anything more than we covered in class...what a great teacher :/
There's a teacher I hated so I keep writing different reviews about her online from different students at different districts and basically follow her career every couple of months to couple of years filing complaints and writing negative things about her and sending her anonymous threatening messages of an extremely violent and vulgar nature with as much of her PI as I can glean from the internet.
I plan on doing this for the rest of her life/at some point stepping it up because she was a bad teacher that manipulated my grades through expanding participation percent of total grade and dropping mine for behavior in the sixth grade.
I also reported another teacher who was also a coach for molestation and gave a bunch of details about the coaches private life as proof of how I was someone who had been taken under his wing and was molested for several years and now as I'm in therapy my therapist urged me to write a letter to where he's currently teaching and notify the administrators of what happen but I don't wish to relive the nightmare or see him again so I wish to remain anonymous.
Fucked that niggas whole career up after 25 years in the public sector. But he insulted me and tried me and held his power over my head and one day 5 or 6 years after High School I was drinking and just got irritated.
